In agriculture, traditional plowing (approx. 25 cm deep) is under discussion. Not plowing the soil, not turning tillage, would lead to less decomposition of organic matter (i.e. more CO2 storage), more soil life and more capillary action. My preference still leans towards regular plowing, so that you start with a clean start in the spring. So without weeds and green manure. In this vlog I try to list the advantages and disadvantages of the non-turning tillage, eco-plowing and plowing.
And the plowing itself may seem easy to an outsider. However, there is a lot to consider when setting up the squad. I explain what I pay attention to, so that the land is nicely flat. This is the start for the new season.
