As campervan owners we all look forward to making our adventure plans for the spring and summer. After over 6 years of campervan ownership and over 100000 miles we have collected together our top 10 favourite campsites that are both wild and remote. From places close to home, to Wales and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, we just love the feeling of splendid isolation in some simply stunning locations.

We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We retired from teaching at the age of 51 in the summer of 2022. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travelling the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
