April is always a month full of complex feelings for me, with the celebration of my birthday, combined with the feeling of sadness that comes with growing up, and the dread of my deadlines approaching, and this year was no different. The pressure of my third and final year was in full swing! And with that follows the familiar yet uninvited feelings of overwhelm and inadequacy 💓 This week in particular was the most challenged yet, as my birthday was at the end of the work week, and the student film that i’m costume designing for being just mere weeks away! I had no more time to procrastinate, shit needed to get done!!
