UF Health Jacksonville announces the opening of the Panda Cares® Center of Hope, made possible through the generosity of Panda Express® associates and guests. UF Health Jacksonville renovated the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit playroom using funds provided by Panda Express® through their year-round fundraising efforts. Since 2007, Panda Express and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have worked together to change kids’ health, change the future.
The playroom is available for pediatric inpatients to get a daily break from their hospital room with parents and any visiting siblings. Pediatric staff also use the room to allow patients to have supervised play.
