On the 1864, 1877, & 1900 maps - Searching, aka "PROSPECTING" a new farm permission on a field that had shows a few home sites from the 1864 map, and multiple home sites from the 1877 & 1900 maps. We are trying to search the area to try and locate where the home sites were at, by looking for clues on the surface using my eyes and below using a metal detector (Minelab Manticore). This is a site that previously hasn't been metal detected. I have been back to this site many times since this video and have found incredible history & relics, that you will see in upcoming videos. Lots of bucket listers checked off my list at this farm in multiple fields. :)
