Traveling by bus in India until 2001 was quite different from what we see today. Back then, only very basic buses, built on truck chassis and engines, were on the roads.

However, in 1998, Volvo introduced its first bus (B10LE) in India at the Delhi Auto Expo, and the story began to change from that point onward.
