In this material, an introduction to the limit concept of a function is explained in a simple way, a fundamental theme in every course of differential calculus. Key concepts such as functions, bilateral limits, unilateral limits and their relationship with the concept of the derivative of a function from a geometric interpretation are briefly addressed.
