This work by Chopin was nicknamed the "black keys etude" for it's triplet pattern exclusively on the black keys in the right hand except for one note. The left hand accompaniment consists of staccato chords and octaves. Chopin was not too fond of this Etude though, I personally find it to be novel and energetic in it's vivace tempo.
