What is the scariest Mountain bike trail? Portal, a double black trail in Moab Utah, is the trail that comes up most often. Portal is only a foot wide and has 200ft drop to your side, and yes, several riders have fallen off. Mountain Bikers from across the world come to test their skills but many don't realize that Portal is the last trail of the Mag 7 Ride. By this point, riders have biked 17 miles across terrain that gets progressively challenging. Many mountain bikers are already already exhausted and bonking by the time they start descending the trail.
