The 1st and 2nd generation of Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra represent a group of beautiful and well-built watches. The Aqua Terra line has been a great hit for Omega and there are literally many dozens of variants of Aqua Terra watches available today.

Here, I compare two earlier models from the line: a 39.2mm 1st gen Aqua Terra and a 2nd gen 41.5mm model.

While their shared heritage is certainly clear, there are differences in their design, aesthetics, and construction that should be understood by anyone who is potentially interested in getting either of these fine watches.

Regardless of which you prefer, I believe most would agree that they both offer an excellent balance of beauty, quality and value. And, they are distinct enough to merit having one of each in your collection.
