I've been loving the Final Fantasy VII remake and the utterly incredible recreation of the original soundtrack, which inspired me to do a recreation of a track from my personal favourite Final Fantasy game- IX!

I decided to do Beatrix's boss theme as to this day I remember entering that battle and being immediately caught offguard by the music- you just knew this was going to be a rough ride! As I wanted to approach this as if it was for a modern day remake in the vein of VII I decided to mix things up a bit and incorporated Beatrix's motifs from later in the game as well.

The original is of course by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu.
