"As The Kingdom Burns" is the 2nd single from my upcoming melodeath album, "Exilium" (releasing in full on October 11th!). It was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Brittney Slayes of "Unleash The Archers" and Dave Haley of "Psycroptic" on this track, and it was fun to push the boundaries of different genres coming together, from the melodic death metal vibes I would write for "Mors Principium Est", old school thrash metal, to Brittney's incredible power metal influence. This album is super varied because why not have a bit of fun with it and throw everything into the mix?

The king sits there laughing upon his throne of flames
Knight of the realm
Watches from exile, the sick man’s game

Falling to chaos, their homes become graves

Crushing the people who served him as slaves

Dismissing those who served you with their lives
Undoing all they bestowed upon you
