Family History Expert Hour

More than 100,000 children were sent from the United Kingdom to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa in an effort to create better lives for them. Separated from their families, these children often struggled and suffered. Today, we remember them each year on September 28. Findmypast, in partnership with Home Children Canada, The National Archives, and other archival partners, are working to tell their stories.
