AU (spoilers for mob psycho):

Chuuya’s timeline is after season 3 but before the ADA gets framed.

Reigen and Mob’s timeline is after Chapter 100/First Half of Season 3 Ep12 but before the epilogue.

Psychics and ability users exist in the same world. The Port Mafia is very well aware of the psychics’ existence (they were planning on stepping in when Claw made the announcement of taking over the world, but it had already been defeated by the time they were going to take the initiative), but many psychics do not know of ability users. Mob being one of those who are unaware. Reigen has heard of ability users before, but only as rumor. He thinks they are fake.

Reigen and Chuuya are brothers.

(STORMBRINGER SPOILERS)

Chuuya’s actual name is Reigen Chuuya, but N changed his name to Nakahara Chuuya during the Arahabaki Project. Chuuya was kidnapped when he was five, so Reigen was 13 when he went missing. Reigen has, understandably, given up on any idea of his brother being alive after 17 years.

Chuuya is perfectly aware of who his brother is since he got the records of his past and did visit him once to see him from afar (before Reigen opened up Spirits and Such). He also did hear about Reigen when he became world-renowned for being a fake psychic, but decided not to step in. He wonders if his brother is actually a psychic after seeing the press conference.

Chuuya does not want to have anything to do with his brother, not only because he is loyal to the Port Mafia, but also because he doesn’t want his family to find out he’s a criminal.

Reigen wants to move on from his brother, distantly hoping that Chuuya went out peacefully.
