This is an instructional video on how to build an A frame type style, outdoor or indoor, ladder plant stand.

Supplies needed:

(3) 2x4x8 framing boards or (6) 2x2x8
(2) 1x10x6
(2 pack) 1.5" hinges
(1 can) wood stain of your choice

(Rip 3) 2 x 4's in 1/2 to create 6 2x2's
(cut 4) 2x2's to 7 feet long
(cut 8) 9.5" long 2x2's

Directions for building planter


use hinges to join 2 of the 7' 2x2's together.

drill holes every 16" on both sides of a frame.

attach all 8 of the 9.5" long 2x2's (4 on each side)

place the 2nd A-frame stand on top of the attached 2x2's to form a ladder shape

Spread the A-frame out to a width of 42"

Cut the 1x10" common boards to the following lengths
4.5' long
3.5' long
2.5' long
1.5' long

attached all 4 shelves to the planter.

stain the planter.

decorate with plants.

I recommend attaching the planter to the wall for extra stability. I screwed mine into the brick with mortar screws
