Getting around the Balaton by bicycle is on the bucket list for many and many have already completed it. They usually go around the lake on the bike path on the shore of the lake. We have already drawn a few circles around the Hungarian sea, so now we solved the Balaton circle a little differently. We moved away from the coast several times and visited viewpoints, mountaintops, alpacas, tanks and other interesting things and places. So it was more like avoiding Balaton than avoiding Balaton.
While descending from the viewpoints, it also became clear why a dropper seat tube is a good thing in a gravel bike.

We just avoided Dörgicsé, where there was an XC race...but maybe we called it CC and didn't mention the Tihany Cup in the video.
