We received a call from La Mesa RV to come pick up our water-damaged RV, but what we found when we got there was not what we expected. In this video we bring you along as we drive nearly two hours to pick up our RV, and experience the disappointment of having to leave empty-handed. And all this is happening while Hurricane Milton is bearing down upon South Florida. We discuss the problems as well as the most likely culprit(s), and talk about the level of response we had received from Tiffin so far during this disaster. In the end, we discover that the problems are only getting worse.

Just as we were ending our Eastern United States Road Trip we encountered a catastrophic failure of the slide-out in our new 2024 Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW. We brought the RV to the service department at La Mesa where it has been for the past two months.

We have been working closely with the La Mesa RV service team as well as our rep from Tiffin. We still have no idea when we will get our RV back, and whether or not it can even be repaired.

Will we be able to continue our adventures in our Wayfarer, or is this the end for us?
