Salmon Fishing in Chile. Where to go and what to do? It's a great question. We went down to Chile to fish with our friends from "A La Pesca" a locally produced fishing show.

We were joined by Rob Alcock of Gibbs Fishing and decided to give our hosts an in depth course in downriver fishing, a style of fishing virtually unused in Chile. In part one of our amazing trip we stayed a small seaside town and got an authentic Chilean experience while fishing hard from sunrise to sunset targeting King (or chinook) salmon on down riggers.
