Ca Huế was formed in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, under the reign of Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu (1691 - 1725).
The source of it is the professional music stream of the Vietnamese people, who were originally from the Ly, Tran and Le dynasties, who came to Hue through Vietnamese emigrants in Nghe Tinh, Thanh Hoa and the Northern Plains. The ministry established the hamlet in Phu Xuan to live with the indigenous Champa people, so they composed new tunes with Vietnamese - Cham mix.
