On August 9th, 2024, soon after Commissioner Dan Williams came home after work, a tornado touched down on his property. It pulled trees from the ground and caused damage to his house. Thankfully, neither Commissioner Williams, nor any of his neighbors were hurt by the tornado. Dan being Dan, he maintains a positive attitude towards the event, buoyed by the immense support from the Teller County Community.
