If you're looking for a super-simple electronic piano, the P35 is Yamaha's entry level model.
Its default piano sound is well above average quality, and the Rhodes EP and Vibraphone are also highlights. It also has a metronome but no actual drum beats. Midi connectivity opens up a world of sound via connection to other electronic instruments, though.
So it's super-basic, pleasant to play and should take the average user quite far into their playing days :) Gearfacts
