Hello everyone, I am pleased to present a trip to Saido-ji Temple in Hoso, Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture: the pure white Senbon-torimon Gate. It is said that in the 11th year of Tempyo era (739), the monk Gyoki established a hermitage here, and in the spring of 811 (Konin 2), Kukai (Kobo Daishi) named this hermitage Saido-ji Temple and founded it.
