Located at a distance of around 60 km from Bangalore, Chhota Ladakh (also known as Dodda Ayur) is a tiny abandoned quarry that has been filled with rain water, combined with surrounding solid rocks. It has a slight resemblance to the Ladakh landscape. The pristine and crystal clear water body is surrounded by mountains and is a majestic and beautiful place.

While going from Bangalore we have to take a right just before Kolar and then traverse a distance of around 3 kms inside to reach the place. The last kilometre or so is little rough but is easily doable.

We went this time with the dynamic BongBHP community as a part of their Bi-monthly Breakfast Drive meet-up. The breakfast was done at WOODYS, Kolar. Post the breakfast we headed towards Chhota Ladakh.
