This city is the best city on earth
It is as though drawn in chalk on the wall
Drawn are boulevards, rivers, and bridges
Different-colored freckles, white bows

This city, waking up, looks at the clouds
Somewhere over there the moon completely hid itself not long ago
And now the birds are exploding with the rise of their wings (??)
And a white ship is sailing off to somewhere

This city resembles no other city around
It smiles at a passerby, not just for five minutes
Helping a person believe in miracles
Fountains shooting right into heaven

I don't know where else in this world there exists such a spring
Perhaps I will let go of the passing wind
And stay here forever
