Now that is how you start a year! Massive west north west swell hits California the first week on 2023. Lots of destruction in Northern California and especially in my home town of Santa Cruz, but later this day that same swell arrived in southern California. Most everywhere was too big, but Sandspit came to life for the last few hours of the day! Not many good ones were ridden but the ones that were made up for it! perfect 200 yard sandbar inside of a jetty! Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings
