Here's something different. A lot of you may not know that I'm a huge car guy. Here's a peek into what cars I personally own, and this is the first. My 2004 Acura RL. This is my girls daily driver and my highway cruiser. I previously owned a 92 Acura Legend, and it was one of the best cars I've ever had. The RL was the Legend 2.0, and was Acura's attempt at making an ultra-luxury sedan that would directly compete with the Germans (BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S class). This generation was made from 96-04. I chose the 2004 model because it was the last year of the series, and Acura ironed out most of the kinks by then. This one has 174k and still runs great. If I could find a good local mechanic it would run much better (EricTheCarGuy where you at?)
Acura was kind of a mess at this time and built some of their worst cars ever in terms of reliability (the TL, CL, and MDX), and almost every model was notorious for transmission issues. Thankfully, the RL was their hidden gem, which is why I searched for months to get this model.
This is by no means a car review, just me bored on a beautiful November Saturday in Salem.
