Welcome to this informative video comparing electric consumption between different AC ceiling fans
The electricity consumption of traditional AC fans typically ranges from 60 to 120 watts with 2.5uf Capacitor, while up to 150 watts if we use 3.5uf Capacitor.
with a minimal performance gain from 350 RPM to 365 RPM only.
DC Inverter fans also come with a built-in inverter that converts single phase Ac into a DC three phase or U,V,W.
This feature makes DC inverter fans more energy-efficient, consuming less electricity than AC fans. The electricity consumption of DC inverter fans typically ranges from 30 to 55 watts, depending on the speed and size of the fan.
To summarize, DC inverter ceiling fans are more energy-efficient than AC ceiling fans, using less electricity to operate.
In this video at the end is a summary of comparison power consumption at different speeds
Note : Lahore Fan was brand new while rest of the fans were almost 3 years used.
