Please subscribe to my channel. In this video I demonstrate using an inexpensive construction material called roofing felt or tar paper on the pottery wheel to eliminate the need to cut or 'wire' a large pot off the bat. This is great to keep the bottom of your pot flat and to avoid hurting your hands during the wire process - large pots can be a pain to cut off. Roofing felt is available at most large hardware stores, and it's very inexpensive. I hope this helps out some folks out there.
