THE most patriotic national anthem I've ever heard. There's nothing more patriotic than a platoon of soldiers standing in the Red Square, in the dead cold of winter, wearing their Russian-style coat and hat, clutching their AK-47, with tanks and helicopters, ICBMs raised and pointed at America, and just belting at the top of their lungs, "Soyooz nerushimi respooblik svobodnik/ Sploitilya navieki velikaya RUUUSSS!!! PARTIA LENINA!! Silya Narodnaya!!" The guy who wrote it is clearly trained classical music, with moving base-lines and many voices. I love it!

I might not be playing exactly the original - I learned what I could from Rocky IV...you can tell by the key - but I think it's close enough. So close, in fact, a Russian girl walked in at the end of the video because she recognised her anthem. :)
