Progress continues on the cleaning of the interior of this all-original 1966 E-Type roadster. In this episode, we concentrate on removing broken seat mounting bolts in the floor, and cleaning the hardura and vinyl panels in the rear of the cockpit - as well as clean up the soft top and tonneau cover.

Slow and steady wins the race here, and the hectic 2021 I had was almost a blessing for this job, as I used this clean-up as an occasional escape to just take a couple hours off here and there and come out for some light scrubbing and wiping - which I think helped to "tone down" the whole process and make sure that I didn't scrub too hard or use any harsh cleaners. As the saying goes, "It's only original once!" - so this cleaning work all has to be approached very carefully.
