A special piano recital for the children of Alban, Bunaken. The idea of sharing my love for piano with the children of Bunaken developed into this idea mummy had to have a recital over the sea at her favorite place on Bunaken, the jetty at Alban village. So everyday for 2 hours after school and every weekend, we practiced and practiced.

It almost didn't happen. It rained heavily the entire week. We were finally chased off the jetty by rain, but we were so lucky that it didn't rain in the 2 hours of setup and performance.

I hope the children of Alban enjoyed the recital! And to the people on the supply boat who arrived at the jetty shocked to find they couldn't use it, thank you for not crashing the show and instead navigated the shallow waters to unload at the middle of the bridge.

I want to say big big thank you to my uncle Dan for shooting the recital and even flying his drone. I want to say a huge thank you to Oasis dive crew for organizing the logistics of running a 100m electric cable from shore to end of jetty, transporting the piano, speakers and amplifiers by boat. And especially the biggest thank you to the GM and to Voldy for making this dream happen.
