The Last Minute Redemption Race 2020 went down at Maryland International Raceway!
This event was a last minute idea after the cancellation of Pan American Nationals. A handful of racers were already on their way from the west coast with no place to race, a large amount of east coast racers who were planning to compete at Pan Am were also hungry to find a place to race.
Royce of MDIR was kind enough to allow 3 classes and a TNT round to come join in on their already planned ET Bracket series race. The three classes to compete were Turbo FWD, Outlaw All Motor and an M1 All Motor class. The tech officials were agreed upon by the racers and each racer paid into the class payouts as well as a bonus for the tech guys helping. All class rules were voted on by the racers in attendance - This was truly for the racers, by the racers!
This video is LONG! - but we captured every bit of Saturday and Sunday. From the meeting before any racing began to each Heads up class race as well as all the TNT passes. We did not want to miss anything, we have included multiple angles on a handful of races as well!
This was not a replacement to Pan American Nationals, they will be back in 2021- this was simply a way to get as many racers as we could to one place on a super short notice. The racing was exciting, the classes were full and competitive and everyone looked to really enjoy the thrown together race weekend for what it was.
