I live in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. It is a rural town with the World Heritage Kumano Kodo. My town has a unique nodule. It is called Furuya stone or Uridani stone. It is a very popular stone in Japanese suiseki. Originally, it would be found by digging in the mountains, but currently that is not possible. So I found the river where it is and picked it up.
