I show how to convert a bike from a threaded fork to threadless fork. I explain the limitations of the conversion. In this video I convert from a 1 1/8" threaded fork to a 1 1/8" threadless fork. 1-1/8" threaded forks are known as oversized and are usually found on mountain bikes. The conversion involves replacing the fork, headset and stem. I install RockShox forks on a Trek 820 mountain bike that didn't originally have a front suspension. It's a nice upgrade for a vintage bike.
