It’s so easy I myself left the eq mount inside and opted for this mount for astrophotography. So far the only fault to that logic is field rotation for time lapse. I’m really impressed with both items performance. There is no such thing as a budget h-a solar scope. If there were, this would be it. Both items combined will set you back just over $1100 USD. If you invest that however you are immediately ready to hit the ground running. Our closest star is an amazing subject to study and photograph. Clear skies.
