Okay, this was ridiculous. Not sure how else to describe it. And what?! Bryce Harper was back in the lineup? That's right -- I'm behind on my videos. These things take time to edit, and I've been traveling almost nonstop. This one was filmed three days before Harper broke his thumb, so if you see any comments from people who are like, "bUt hOw iS hE pLaYiNg i tHoUgHt He wAS iNjUrEd!!!!!1" , please let them know that this was filmed on June 22, 2022. Cool? Thanks.

In this interleague game between the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies, I'll admit that at times, the action on the field almost felt like an afterthought. That's because some really nice kids brought me free food, and some really nice grown-ups brought free beer for my videographer "Fenway Chris" (@yonnernyc on Insta). And by the way, my HR department HAS indeed looked into this and instituted a rule that fans are only allowed to bring Chris one beer at a time -- and not during batting practice. Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.

And yes, things got wacky with all the snacks and beverages. As you can see in the video, Chris assaulted me with his ice cream. There's really no other way to describe it. I was the victim, NOT the instigator. And this happened AFTER he stole some of my food. The nerve. (Good thing I love him and forgive people easily.)
