20-year-old Oleksandra Saharuk knows well what the front line looks like – she has visited most of the cities and villages torn by war. This is her last "research" expedition – only in the cities and villages south of Siversk she has not yet been. She goes there to talk about her complex evacuation program and to offer people not just to take them to the train to Pokrovsk, but to bring them to their new home — to a new life.

When the invasion began, Oleksandra left the IT field and started working in journalism. Talking to people in front-line settlements, she realized that they cling to their hometown or village until the last moment for several reasons, most of which can be solved: they need their pensions, permanent housing, and help with finding a job. So, together with her friends, she created the public organization "NOT ALONE", which is trying to answer all these local objections. Partnering with other volunteers, "NOT ALONE" not only evacuates people, but also supports them during the war and helps them settle in a new place. While Oleksandra drives to the front and tries to persuade locals to leave, other members of the team, volunteers, accept evacuation applications, organize logistics, and support displaced people.
Despite the fact that Oleksandra spent her youth moving between Avdiivka and Siversk, she does not complain about such a life.

"We can continue to build the Ukrainian national idea. We are watching how our state is being formed and what processes are taking place in it now. It is very interesting if you can be involved in it. In fact, it is a great happiness that we found this period in our youth, when we already have our own state, but we can still work on its construction," Oleksandra says.
