Despite not having Pacific coastlines, Myanmar and Laos are included with the rest of the Southeast Asian nations due to historical and cultural ties and also for being just 14km and 40km away from Pacific Sea access respectively.
Taiwan is the common name of the Republic of China. Not to be confused with the People's Republic of China, commonly known as China.
South Korea and North Korea are the common names for the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea respectively. Both consider themselves to be the sole legitimate governments of the Korean peninsula.
To avoid comments about Russia not belonging here, have in mind that the Russian Federation has 2 oblasts, 1 okrug and 3 krais that have Pacific Ocean access.
