Exploring the BWCA can be the greatest adventure and it can also be a bit intimidating at times. My goal in sharing 12 tips for camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is to create awareness of different aspects of this type of canoe camping that may help others access this beauty. We are lucky in Minnesota to have such a wonderful Wilderness area to access. The dark sky sanctuary that is the BWCA creates world-class stargazing. There is also the possibility to see Aurora Borealis ( Northern Lights ) if you are lucky. I hope to see you camping in the BWCA this summer.
