I travel to San Nicolas in Santa Barbara to learn how the famous rosquilla donuts are prepared in Honduras. The rosquilla is a type of traditional cookie in Honduras filled with cheese. My great teacher Senia Teruel, who has been preparing donuts for decades, teaches me how to prepare the dough, knead it in a donut-like shape, light and heat the wood stove, prepare the grass broom, and more. During the long day she tells me about her incredible life. Since her childhood, she has been getting up at 2:50 AM every day to prepare rosquillas. With her earnings, the single mother has financed the university education of her children. In the end, a grand jury gives me a rating from 0 to 10. Can a Japanese person learn the art of preparing oven baked rosquillas? Let's find out together.

Thank you very much Fredy Lara for making this video possible.
