Matheran Hill Station occupies a special place since, after a certain point, only trains and horses are permitted to transport people there.
In a similar vein, I traveled around 2 kilometers by toy train from Matheran to AmanLodge, which offers amazing vistas along the way. The toy train runs between Matheran and Neral, but only between Matheran and Amanlodge till the rain stops according to the Monsoon timetable.


The carriage, the locomotive, and the scenery along the way are all distinctive features of the train itself!
