After diagnosing the unborn son of Daniel and Michelle Schachle with fetal hydrops, a doctor presented them only two options: terminate the pregnancy now or wait for him to die and have a stillbirth. The Schachles begged God for a miracle and asked Father Michael McGivney to intercede for their son. Their prayers were answered, and their son, Mikey, was miraculously cured. The miracle, attributed to Father McGivney’s intercession, paved the way for his beatification.
