Hey guys! I’ve got a fun and easy pattern for you today! This is the shell pattern and uses only double half hitch knots.

Tie a double half hitch knot with the two centre cords. Using the centre cord as your filler cord, tie 4 diagonal double half hitch knots working down and to the right. Using the same filler cord, tie one more double half hitch knot working to the left. Repeat on the other side of your work.

Move back to the middle of your work. Using the centre cord as your filler cord, tie 4 diagonal double half hitch knots working down and to the right. Using the same filler cord, tie one more double half hitch knot working to the left. Repeat on the other side of your work.

Repeat that process again on both sides of your work.

Push the knots up your filler cords a bit to make sure that they are even and then tie one final double half hitch knot to connect the two sides.

Thanks so much for watching! I love to see your work so please feel free to tag me on Instagram if you’ve used one of my tutorials!
