What a difference a year can make! Just a year ago, after we gave out our Women's Alzheimer's Movement grants for research, I met with Dr. Jill Biden to discuss the current state of women’s healthcare and the need for adequate and equitable research. Dr. Biden didn’t just listen, she made stuff happen! Now, we have the first ever ‪@WhiteHouse‬ Women’s Health and Research Initiative, an executive on women’s health research, and ‪@JoeBiden‬ is calling for $12 Billion to be allocated to women’s health!

This is the power of hope. This is the power of imagining what is possible, then going for it. This is the power of working together! If this is what we can accomplish in 1 year, imagine what is possible — especially when we come together, unite in moving humanity forward, and build bridges of hope and possibility!
