This is a discussion about moments in Frank Zappa's music that remind me of music from other composers. In some cases the similarities are fleeting, but conspicuous nonetheless, and in other cases, more salient and sustained.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a microcosmic sample of Zappa's work and should not be confused with his whole musical output. If you are still confused after watching this video, may I suggest you read my thesis "Frank Zappa and the Orchestra Question".
