Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

Thinking about my dad today who passed away last year from Parkinson's. I'm also thinking about Gary Papa as tomorrow marks 14 years since his passing from prostate cancer and Father's Day was traditionally when the Gary Papa Run took place to raise awareness and money for research.

My dad beat prostate cancer and, ironically, this week marks my last receiving radiation therapy to hopefully kill off whatever cells remain in my body.

Prostate Cancer is the second leading cause of death for men but it is also highly treatable if caught early. I started getting tested soon after Gary was diagnosed, and it likely saved my life.

Although the GP Run is history, I decided to hit the road on the bike for a Dad's Day ride.

No matter what health challenge you are facing, stay positive, keep moving, and keep living.

We're all gonna die of something someday... but until time's up, live life to the fullest every day.
