* means you hit that button only once doing the combo. To do combos, do F F HP to grapple, and then do the initiator sequence, which is F F and a button, then do the button sequence. You can tap that button while doing that move set, and before it is over then start pressing for the next sequence.

Some moves have a diagonal direction in it, but when trying these moves using a keyboard, I've found that it's not needed. For example, a move of D DF F HP, will work by just using D F HP.
