One of the toughest hikes I've ever done in Yosemite. Despite the distance being just over 3 miles to the summit, the elevation gain is around 3000+ ft, and in a short period of time, you ascend from 9900+ to 13000+ ft in altitude. We took a detour to avoid snow on the trail, which was grueling as we had to scramble over boulders, adding an extra hour to our hike. We started around 6:30 AM and returned around 4 PM. It was tough, but the view at the top made it all worth it. Truly one of the best hikes!
