Presenters: Brighton Demerest-Smith and Kate Powell

The graduating Low-Residency MFA students had the opportunity to present on their written thesis during the Thesis Symposium in July 2024. The written MFA thesis serves as a record of a student’s development over the course of their graduate studies and as a marker of the journey taken within the graduate program of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. It establishes a professional foundation that articulates the trajectory of one’s post-graduate career and an archive of the student’s achievements while within the MFA program.
