On Saturday, December 4, 2021 we joined Mint Hill, North Carolina residents for their Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The Tree is Sixteen feet tall, weighing in at 500 lbs, and boasting more lights than anyone can count, Mint Hill’s official tree will once again be situated in the basin of the fountain in front of Town Hall, and getting it there is no easy feat! “It takes about six guys and a crane to secure the tree,” said Smith. “When the fountain was designed, the architect was told we needed to be able to use it as a tree stand. Putting it in the fountain gives it a much taller appearance.”

Now is the time to begin making plans to be part of the Town of Mint Hill Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. The parade will take place on Saturday, December 4th and travel from Bain School down Matthews Mint Hill Road to the Mint Hill Library.

Join us after the parade for food trucks and entertainment at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Santa will be available to visit with children while social distancing. It's important that Santa and his team stay healthy so he can travel on Christmas Eve.

Santa will have a mailbox with direct access to the North Pole available at Town Hall starting on December 4th.
